Hi friends,

If you’re new here—welcome 🖤 I’ve had a bunch of new faces join recently, so I wanted to take a moment to say hello properly and give you a little tour of what I write, what I’m working on, and what you can expect from me this year.

And if you’ve been here a while, thank you for sticking around—I’m really excited about what’s coming next.

You might also notice the newsletter looks a little different—same colour scheme, just a small refresh to kick off the new year.

Who I Am & What I Write

I write dark romance with sharp edges and obsessive hearts—the kind of stories where love is messy, morally grey, and sometimes a little unhinged. Expect things like:

  • Mafia power plays

  • Stalkers and vigilantes

  • Possessive MMCs

  • Badass FMCs

  • High tension and high emotion

If you like your romance intense, layered, and a little dangerous… you’re in the right place.

Books You Can Read Right Now

If you’re wondering where to start, here’s a quick guide:

The Murderously Romantic series:

The Colour Of RevengeShe's the pink-haired queen of vengeance, and he's the serial killer who fell in love with her art of retribution.

The Chaos She BringsShe murdered her ex with a lamp, and he cleans up bodies for a living–their love story is a chaotic masterpiece.

The Way I Love HerHe's the mafia heir who'd burn the world for her, and she's the trauma-surviving operative who'd help him light the match.

All of these books can be read as standalones, but they live in the same dark, interconnected world for readers who like Easter eggs and familiar faces.

Complete Standalone:

With Him, AlwaysShe’s a domestic abuse survivor running from her husband, and he’s a self-defence instructor with a dark secret.

The Obsession Between Us

Book 4 in my Murderously Romantic series and my latest stalker romance. Dark, obsessive, and very much leaning into “he’s unhinged but make it romantic.”

A MC Romance Series

Female MC club. Male MC club. Feminine rage. Bad bitch energy. Still writing this chaotically and loving every second—gritty, intense, found family vibes, with women who solve problems the wrong way and men that match their energy.

A Why Choose That Refuses to Behave

The homeless FMC + three club owners story is still happening—and still refusing to behave. And yes—there will be sword crossing (wink wink).

A Super Secret Project

Currently known only to my street team… and that’s all I’m saying for now.

Future Plotting: Santorini Family Spin-Off

I’ve also got ideas brewing for a spin-off series from my current world, centred around the Santorini family. Nothing official yet, but the ideas are loud.

This year is shaping up to be big, messy, and very unhinged in the best way.

The Obsession Between Us

Since you’re on my newsletter, here’s a microtropes breakdown I haven’t shared anywhere else 👀

I’ve been spending a lot of time exploring the line between danger and desire—that uneasy space where attraction starts to feel like something sharper. Writing a male lead as obsessed as Eli has been intense. He’s the kind of man who notices what everyone else overlooks, who pays attention in ways that feel unsettling only once you realise how much he knows.

I also have one very specific, non-negotiable rule for this book: Graham is pronounced the British way—gray-uhm, not the American “Gram.” It’s a small detail, but one I’m deeply particular about. You’ll eventually meet Graham himself—Emily’s British Blue shorthair cat. He’s unimpressed, observant, and a bit of a protector in his own right. Writing the dynamic between a possessive stalker and a very unimpressed cat has brought some much-needed levity… and turning Eli into a cat dad has been unexpectedly delightful.

At its core, this story is a high-stakes game of cat and mouse between a woman who studies the human psyche and a man who is obsessed with hers. I’m leaning hard into the contrast—the idea of a quiet, ordinary life being slowly undone by someone who refuses to look away. Because sometimes the most dangerous moment isn’t realising you’re being watched—it’s realising the person watching you might be the only one who truly sees you.

Newsletter Exclusive Snippet:

"I noticed things other people might miss. And what I notice now, is that she’s turned on. And she hates that." — Eli

Saint View Murder Squad — Elle Thorpe

I’ve told you before how much I love Elle Thorpe’s Saint View trilogies, and this one absolutely delivered. X’s humour? Chef’s fucking kiss. Sharp, irreverent, and perfectly timed. Every single book in this trilogy was a five-star read for me—I genuinely wouldn’t change a thing.

It’s dark without being exhausting, funny without breaking the tension, and packed with the kind of found-family energy I adore. If you like your romance with murder, mayhem, and men who cope with trauma via bad jokes, this series is a must.

A quote to sum up this story:

“You know what I like to do after a good round of sex club shenanigans?”

Whip glanced over at me warily. “Shower? Fucking hell, X, you reek of sex.”

“Glorious, isn’t it? But no.” I squeezed them tighter. “Murder, boys. I’m emotionally unstable, sexually satisfied, and lightly caffeinated. Let’s go commit a felony.”

What to Expect From This Newsletter

Going forward, you’ll see:

  • Writing updates – what I’m working on, what’s loud in my head, and what’s coming next

  • A monthly spotlight – a book, a character, a trope, or a piece of the world I’m building

  • Behind-the-scenes thoughts – the messy, honest parts of the writing process

  • What I’m reading – because I’m always reading, and I love sharing recommendations

Some months will also include newsletter-only extras—microtropes, deleted scenes, or small glimpses I don’t share anywhere else.

I aim for once a month (sometimes twice for new releases/ARC opportunities!)—no spam, just things I genuinely want to share.

Thanks for being here. It really does mean more than you know.

Talk soon,

P.S. I’m always reading something (usually multiple somethings). If you like stalking my TBR or want book recs that match my vibes, you can follow along here:
